Foreign Minister Penny Wong has met with her Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, for the second time in three months.

ABC Foreign Affairs reporter Stephen Dziedzic says while the meeting was short, the list of topics was anything but.

I hope SEATO starts treating China like NATO is treating Russia.
