Early voting starts this week for Wisconsin's spring election
EAU CLAIRE (WQOW) - The spring election is on Tuesday, April 7 and voters across the state will decide a state Supreme Court seat and several local races.
Votes in the Chippewa Valley will start trickling in this week with in-person absentee voting starting on Tuesday at the city's elections office. According to Deputy City Clerk Eric Gilge, voters can cast ballots on weekdays from 9 a.m. through 4 p.m. until Friday, April 3. There will also be extended hours until 6 p.m. on Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, April 2.
"There's parking available right next to City Hall for any voters that are coming in to vote, you will have to come into the office though, we're not doing drive-thru voting anymore," Gilge said.
However, for those with disabilities there will be signage posted for curbside voting.
