Not one. They are not doing a damn thing to lower the cost of housing. But hey, those realtors are getting rich. They have infiltrated the mortgage industry and they decide the value. It's so corrupt.

(54,215 posts)5. Governor Newsom and the CA legislature have recently passed a bunch of laws to increase housing.
They slashed red tape for building permits on all housing development and made it to easy for people to building ADUs (basically mini houses) in their back yards.
There was a strong statewide rent control measure on the November ballot, but it failed due to a barrage of propaganda against it by real estate interests.

(771.8/580 - 1) * 100% = 33.1%.
So for every 3 in Jan. 2022, there were 4 in Jan. 2024
