Police: Chesterfield teacher arrested for child porn
A Chesterfield County Public Schools teacher was arrested on Tuesday morning for possession of child pornography in Colonial Heights.
At around 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, officers with the Colonial Heights Police Department responded to Regal Cinemas, located at 300 Southpark Circle, for a report of an individual taking photos of a juvenile in a restroom.
Officers responded to the scene, and through their investigation, identified the suspect as 49-year-old Shaun Jason Adams, of Petersburg, who was reportedly found in possession of child pornography.
Officers determined that Adams is a teacher at Chesterfield County Public Schools and notified the school system.
Adams was taken into custody without incident for one count of child pornography, according to officials.
