Republican delegate files resolution to repeal Virginia Constitutional ban on same-sex marriages.

This looks like the so-called “clean repeal” some Republicans said they could support.

It just gets rid of the ban, without replacing it with new, largely symbolic marriage equality language.

Democrats who have worked on LGBTQ equality issues for years say they're filing the same thing Anderson did.

That means it could pass on a bipartisan basis, depending on how
