HENRY COUNTY CANDIDATES QUALIFY FOR AUGUST 6 ELECTION; THREE-WAY COUNTY MAYOR RACE SET

Paris, Tenn.–There will be plenty of candidates in Henry County for the August 6 Primary and General Election. The County Elections Office has been a very busy place, as today was the qualifying deadline.

There will be one more candidate for Henry County Mayor, with Catherine Herrera announcing a run as an Independent. The other two candidates already announced: Jonathan Lodge, who is running as an Independent, and David Webb, who is running as a Republican.

Other County Officials who are running for re-election do not have opponents, including Incumbents Josh Frey, Sheriff, Republican; Mike Wilson, Circuit Court Clerk, Independent; Donna Craig, County Clerk, Independent; Randi French, Trustee, Independent; and Pam Martin, Register of Deeds, Independent; Chad Cox, General Sessions/Juvenile Court Judge.

There will be plenty of people running for county commissioners in all the districts on the ballot.
