Washington County mails ballots for May 19 election

Washington County Elections has mailed ballots to more than 400,000 registered voters for the May 19 election.

Voters who haven't received their ballot by May 5 should contact the Elections Office at 503-846-5800 or Elections@WashingtonCountyOR.gov to request a replacement, the county said in a press release.

Ballots are due by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, May 19. Mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before that date and received within seven days. Ballots received after May 26 will not be accepted, regardless of the postmark date.

Washington County also mailed its Voters' Pamphlet this week, which can be viewed online. Selected portions are translated into Arabic, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Farsi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog and Vietnamese at Oregonvotes.gov/WashingtonVP.
