My wife and I paddled our kayaks to the far end of Eel Lake on the Oregon coast.
While sitting in our boat among the water lillies, an osprey made a dive to grab a fish less than 20 feet away from us. After a short struggle the rapor emerged with dinner in their talons and wing off to the nest.
Nature is a great healer. I can not imagine living in a place where I can not connect often.
