A shout out to DUers from Broken Arrow

Hope everyone is being careful in the heat with your water situation...hope they get it resolved soon! Talked to a friend last night, and he said their water was barely trickling out of the faucet. Now it sounds like the whole town is shut down.

Be safe!

Water emergency is over. The city reports water reservoirs are full, and that residents should flush hot and cold water lines, throw out ice made over the last few days, and all ice made for the next day or so. Dishwashers should be run empty through one cycle, and hot water should be run long enough to flush out the tank (about 30-40 minutes, depending on size of tank).

Pools and water parks reopen this afternoon, residents can water lawns again.

Glad this is over!
