Check In If You Are Stunned

I live miles away and found out about it because of a post here on DU around 11pm last night. Except for sleeping, I've been glued to local news.

Let's be a DU support group. Did you know anybody there? How are you feeling?

Every school I attended is now closed. Every single one.

I'm tired of hearing that my hometown, whether actual or adopted, has made international news in a bad way.

Although we were downtown, last week, and had a grand time. There are some wonderful places to eat and it seems like something is going on, just about every weekend. Downtown Flint is definitely making a comeback - not as a major retail area, but lots of businesses and restaurants, and a few smaller stores.
