Walz to campaign in Macomb County

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Minnesota Governor and Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz will hold a campaign event in Macomb County on Friday, the Harris-Walz campaign announced Wednesday.

This will be Walz’s third solo visit to the state since officially beginning to campaign for vice president, following previous stops in Grand Rapids, East Lansing, and Ann Arbor last month.

Walz is expected to focus on Michigan workers during this visit, specifically regarding the state’s manufacturing and auto industries.

Walz is expected to arrive at MBS International Airport in Freeland at around 10:15 a.m. and will deliver remarks at a campaign event at 11:00 a.m.
