Mitchellville plans special election to fill city council seat
MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa — Mitchellville will hold a special election on July 7 to fill an at-large City Council seat.
The vacancy follows Amber Turner's resignation, which she announced in April. Her last day in office was in May.
This is the small Polk County town's second special election of the year.
