Related: About this forumDenver air is full of smoke
There's a heavy haze everywhere. My eyes are burning. I can't imagine what it must be like even closer to the PNW fires.

(114,671 posts)So far, California smoke is south of us and PNW smoke is north of us but NM has had plenty of smoke from AZ and NM fires in years past.
I sympathize. There have been whole weeks when I couldn't see the mountains 8 miles to the east.

(16,990 posts)In S. Dakota tonight after two days in Wisconsin. Before I left CO last Thursday there was a strong smokey smell in the air and it was quite hazy. I have noticed how beautiful the sunsets have been here in the mid-west which means there's a lot of smoke in the atmosphere. Sad.
