It's RAINING!!!!!!!

I can't believe I can actually hear rain!!! It's been at least 9 months since I heard rain and it's a beautiful sound. I think that it's going to be steady and slow for a whole 45 minutes which is good. When the soil is as hard as cement most rain is runoff. This rain may actually sink into the soil a tiny bit.

I used to carry my little dog to my back door and we would watch and listen and we sang a rain song since it was a rare event.

To show faith, yesterday I watered my dirtlawn so all rain could be captured.
A harbinger of more good things headed our way!

In east county said she was expecting the rain to get to her before the fire. Spoke Friday.

Glad it's raining, hope it puts the fires out.

so I assumed people would know the state is CA.

It's supposed to rain more tonight and tomorrow with "scattered showers" so it will not be wasted run off.
