To the people of her group, AND the people of LA.

(36,472 posts)I hope I spelled her name correctly. She performed her song earlier in the program, and she won the award for best new performer.
One thing that surprised me at the Grammy Awards is that even though many of the performers are black (or perhaps non-white would be more accurate) the program wasn't overrun with hip-hop and rap songs. There were several non-white performers doing country-western or traditional pop stylings, unlike previous years.
Beyonce won "Best Album of the Year" and those songs are all in the country-western genre. She was far from the only black performer to stretch the CW genre.

(32,657 posts)They are long lost family from years ago .their voices are damn near as perfect as REAL family. My three older brothers sang at our church and only they had vocal sounds so perfect with each other because they had family ties. Not many vocal singers have that .but, Bruno Mars, AND Lady Gaga do have it.

I enjoy their passion for music and their commitment to a great performance. I like hearing new singers and musicians 🎶 and seeing some that I have forgotten about for awhile.
