Monday's KCChronicles - His history with DU - Chapter 5 - In the new house.

He liked hanging out in our closet.

So that's where we placed his well-used "bed".

One day KC slipped into the pantry. Performed a professional inspection.
He looked high ~

He looked low ~

He jumped up and looked all around.

When done he just trundled on.

There was the time he examined the dishwasher. Thoroughly.

Mommy bought a new recliner and hooked up her iPad.
Guess who invited himself onto her lap.

He started exploring outside.


The grass tasted good!

KC came back in and up onto his windowsill.

One day he hopped up and settled on Allan's old plaid shirt.
And claimed it for himself.

Another time he saw Maddie eating breakfast.

To this day we don't know why, but KC raced down the fence line in her paddock.

Sensitive mare that she is, Maddie may have noticed a presence in her pen.

KC slammed on the brakes, whirled around and galloped back the way he came.

Just as he was about to dive beneath the gate

Maddie looked up, as if to say "I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat!"

"Hey, where'd your hand go? Mommm!"

"There. That's more like it! Purrrrr . . ."
