(102,322 posts)Dinosaur National Monument? There's a campground, Echo Park, that you should see. The drive down there is spectacular. There are a couple pictograph sites on the way. I think you'd like it, very much like Horseshoe Bend only down by the river.

(1,746 posts)Stopped on our way to an incredible trip into the Wind River Range of Wyoming. There are so many amazing places out there!!

(102,322 posts)I was on a motorcycle but there were giant RVs at the campground when we got there. There's a sign at the top of the 18 mile road to the campground that tell you not to go if it's raining or has been or is expected to. You could be trapped and washed away.

(1,746 posts)When I lived in SW Colorado I spent so much time hiking the Canyonlands, and BLM regions, Bears Ears, etc. I was fortunate enough to float the Colorado from Moab to Lake Powell back in the day, so floated that portion of the river. I love The Loop section of the river/NP, as well. Wow! I miss that place!! Thanks for the incredible photo to spark the memories!❤️
