Caen Cathedral

One of my wife's childhood friends and her family have moved to France. They are waiting for German citizenship. We went to visit and see the area in the Normandy region. On the way back home we stopped to hear an organ concert in the refurbished Notre Dame.
Here are a few from the Caen cathedral. Plus a picture of what it looked like after D Day.

I have been to a couple Cathedrals in England and found them fascinating. We have them here in the NE area of the US but they aren't the same somehow.

I've seen a few that were rebuilt from devastation, war or fire.
We can build them like we used to, if we want, and have the finances.
