(28,484 posts)I live in Santa Fe, NM, and we have amazing sunsets every single day here.
My little apartment faces southwest, so I get to see them each and every day. Lucky me.
I just can't figure out how to get photos from my phone to here. Sigh.

(11,117 posts)You could ask the community how to go about getting photos from your phone to DU . . .

(33,195 posts)What kind of cell phone do you have? I have an Android--Pixel 9 currently--and I post a lot of photos from it.
I use https://postimg.cc/ to upload the photo, then copy the direct link which it will give you when you click on the share button after the photo is uploaded. Paste the direct link into the Reply text space of a post to DU.
This may help you.

(28,484 posts)The really sad thing about my having trouble figuring out these things, is that I was using computers before most people today were born. In January, 1969 I went to work for the very second airline to get a computerized reservation system. I was even good at figuring out how to access information we weren't supposed to be able to access.
Sigh. Over the years I've let those skills fade.

(11,117 posts)It's like you were part of a pioneering process, played an important role. Seems as if your know-how, and many others' of course, helped a much-needed system "get off the ground" pun pre-planned).
Yes, skills may fade, but knowledge, experience can still count. Thank You for recounting yours for us.
P.S. re: info you "weren't supposed to . . . access". Hope you didn't get in trouble!
