It will be 8 months before my farmers market will have berries anything like that. We have today almost a foot of snow on the ground and the temperature has abruptly fallen to 5 degrees F at 10:30 pm under the full moon. It’s going to get colder yet tonight. Winter has arrived.

The peppers and the berries really pulled me in.

Unfortunately, many of the normal vendors weren't there--no idea why. The lady with the flower stand was among the missing and I was sorry not to see her. She adds a lot to my photos.

Your winter has definitely arrived; ours is still on its way. Today was sunny but a bit chilly. The highs were in the 60's today. Nothing compared to yours!

I saw the “picked fresh daily” sign and wondered who was doing that picking.

It's great to walk in a street that is blocked to cars, even if only for a few hours.
