I urge you to post the photo itself instead of the link. I think imgur has that capacity so we can see your photo right away.

Welcome to the Photo Group!

CIAO!

On edit.

OKAY, I returned to this thread and nobody posted the image.
With respect and thanks to the OP, here it is.
I posted how to get this on an ipad.

P.S. If you use postimages, https://postimages.org

1. Select a size, for example, "640 by 480" or "do not resize my image"
2. just upload the image from your camera roll
3. Use the "direct link". Copy it and post it.
Works every time, even on ipads and phones.

Hope this helps.

I’m pretty much tech ignorant. Perhaps there is something else I don’t know…….among a myriad of other things.

If you have email enabled, click on the image until a menu pops up and says "share" (up arrow)

Select email.

You will see a new mail message with the link in it. Copy the link.

Now, you can either send the email (i.e. to yourself) with a copy of the link for future use, or delete the draft email message.

This works with images in your browser (ones that have links)
Not with pix on your ipad. They are just images, with no links.

------
P.S. even with a keyboard case, tackpad and even a mouse, the ipad won't "copy image URL" like a desktop.
Geniuses at Apple, but "I find a way" to get things done.
Means other than emailing are too weird to use, IMO.

George McGovern also had helpful advice. Tech has outpaced this Boomer’s expertise.

I just latched on to technology when it was simpler and grew along with it.

My career was in estuarine biology….wasn’t exposed to any computer tech until the early 90’s. For me it was polar grabs and dissecting scopes….
Thanks again

I "googled" estuarine biology to learn about that. And found this amazing website called Restore American's Estuaries —
https://estuaries.org/estuary-science/

Thank You for reminding me how vitally important estuaries are to the health of our planet!

Worked over thirty years in Tampa Bay. My primary focus was seagrass restoration. I’ve been on the water all my life and have been a liveaboard on my Beneteau 321 since retiring over fifteen years ago. Looks like a nice spearfishing day tomorrow.
