He's been looking at a 14 inch. He showed me the price...I gave him a stern look.

i had one a long time ago but it was such a pita to set up i ended up donating it to a local school district before we moved. plus its not ideal for astrophotography of deep space objects.

(2,237 posts)I don't know squat about his stuff really..but he tries to school me on a few things..I like it.
Just between you and I....He bought an Ioptron (Spelling) 45lb mount and has trouble with it and the hand thing
to move the scope. He was pissed at it. Something about that it was not sealed well and the Florida humidity
messed it up and had to pay 240 bucks for the hand thing.
Anyway..thanks for reading so far.

(3,553 posts)i use one on my scope in texas. I dont use a hand controller but i have a travel router I use to connect the scope to my ipad. i bring the router inside every morning when im done shooting. I use something called an asair plus since i do photography instead of visual
