In so many ways! That's very interesting lighting. I never thought of trying to photograph hoarfrost at night, I like it... especially the fading background in the last one.

Those things have gotten so much better.
The street lights on our street are longish rectangles which work something like a soft box.

And with your phone! The dark background really makes these trees stand out perfectly.

I got a bunch. Not sure when the conditions will be right again for this much frost.
