I returned to Longwood Gardens yesterday after attending the annual Halloween fountain show Saturday night. Here are a few of the some 400 shots I took yesterday. Happy Halloween!

(12,514 posts)I once climbed to the top of Notre Dame (in my younger years) so I could be at eye level with the gargoyles—and have a wonderful view of Paris!

You're making excellent use of your time and equipment!

(6,037 posts)I find more than enough photo subjects within a 50-mile radius of my home. Travel's fine, but there's much to recommend getting to know the place one lives. Saves gas and jet fuel, and the attendant pollution, and brings $$$ to the local economy.
