Built his own hi-fi in 1955. In our house, the kids were telling the adults to "Turn it down!"

But, he was born in '31, so he was a young boy when swing was at its zenith.
He became a cool jazz fan while in the army in the late 40s/early 50s.
But, I grew up amidst a pop jazz atmosphere, too.

13 or 14 I think.
As I recall, I had fun playing it. I probably should relearn it.
