While you’re sorting around with Pink Floyd, there is a video called the Pale Blue Dot that features Carl Sagan and this song, the Turning Away. I hope you will like it, too.

Notably, in the chapter that includes the quote, Carl Sagan discussed a few American cultural phenomena of the time, like the TV show Beavis and Butthead and the movie Dumb and Dumber. He uses these as examples of the “dumbing down” of America. One can only wonder how he would update his take on America’s future if he was alive today.

I do not know for certain which particular video you are referencing because I have found several to go with.
All I can say is if you have Carl Sagan and Pink Floyd what can go wrong>>>>

And Carl Sagan’s warnings that there is no one to help, only ourselves. I wish he was still with us to see Artimis making this historic trip..he’d be right up front explaining what this means for us and all the while being ecstatic about the future. Thanks for making the effort to find this video..I wish everyone could see it 🌺
