The band was parked in the middle of a cavernous room that could hold a full orchestra with four drop microphones. Grace Slick sang from an isolated sound booth. Somewhere out there on Youtube are her isolated vocals.

This is one of, if not my favorite Jefferson Airplane pieces and in my top 10 songs of all time.

I've been playing since 1973 or 74. You killed me with this post, in a good way.

Leo Kottke comes to mind. This albums sound and the work of Jorma Kaukonen on the song 'Embryonic Journey' on the album in general are just 'Surrealistic'.

Just wow! Heck, the whole album is responsible for Leo Kottke's work IMHO. What more could I say!

Leo Kottke is highly underappreciated. He'd show up occasionally on the Prairie Home Companion, and he was a real treat live.
