The original is more laid back, which made sense.
But, MH put an edge on it I didn't know the song needed until I heard them do it.
I guess I like that they covered it, but didn't copy it.

And although I wouldn't say they're better than the original, I'm very glad we have the Motorhead cover of Heroes and the Oasis cover of I Am The Walrus (though I wouldn't put that Beatles cover in the top 20 Oasis songs, as both Rolling Stone and NME did).
