(72,543 posts)... I bar tended places around Akron and Sonny Geraci, of the Outsiders would turn up at different places and gigs performing. He was a nice guy and he never played high or drunk - at least noticeably.
The first concert I ever went was a WIXY-1260 youth appreciation at Chippewa Lake Park and the Outsiders were playing.
As were the Chior

(77,303 posts)Such a British Invasion sound. Reminds me of what I know of Peter & Gordan.
Obviously recorded in one take, the part right before the "Laugh Laugh" chorus is rushed a couple times but ok once.
But, that's how they recorded "pop" stuff in those days. Get 'em in, get 'em out.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
