I went to Chicago for a mini-vacation to meet up with some friends for a New Year's Eve concert (Goo Goo Dolls!).

Being a Texas gal, I love me some rockin' blues - ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan, etc. I headed to Buddy's club "Legends" on a free night. The place was pretty packed, but I spotted an open stool at the bar and sat my ass down. I was just drinking my drink and enjoying the music.

A man sat on the stool beside me. I didn't really look at him until the band took a break and people started coming up to him, asking for autographs. At one point I heard him say "Sorry, I don't sign napkins". So I looked and it was Mr. Guy! Momentarily speechless, I eventually introduced myself and shook his hand. Very sweet man.

That sounds wonderful!
