From their EP, At Dawn, released last spring:
Silveroller had a lineup change just several weeks before the fall tour they'd scheduled began - new guitarist, bass player and keyboardist, with the keyboardist having just a few weeks to rehearse - but despite that, they put on a great show at an annual music festival in Reading, the second show in their tour of venues in England, Wales and Scotland. Video posted by the venue hosting the festival:
An English blogger who's been reviewing a lot of indie music for years just gave Silveroller a lot of attention, including them in an end-of-2024 roundup, with their "near perfect" debut EP among his ten favorite albums of 2024
https://www.realgonerocks.com/2024/12/the-real-gone-end-of-year-round-up-2024/
and their single "Come On, Come In" among his favorite tracks from last year:

I've already posted "Come On, Come In" a number of times here, both the studio track - https://www.democraticunderground.com/1034127255 - and live performances including ones from their tour last spring with DeWolff, like this performance in Oxford: https://www.democraticunderground.com/1034116660#post11 .
So even though that blogger giving Silveroller rave reviews likes "Come On, Come In" best, I thought I'd post this news of the latest Silveroller reviews with a different song from their EP.
"Ways Of Saying" - which that blogger had said in his long review last spring ( https://www.realgonerocks.com/2024/02/silveroller-at-dawn/ ) reminded him of Bad Company. It reminded a Scottish rock journalist of the Faces (http://www.bluesenthused.com/2024/03/dewolff-with-silveroller-voodoo-rooms.html). It reminded a British journalist reviewing their Glasgow show of David Coverdale in "the bluesier incarnations of Whitesnake" (http://devilsgatemusic.co.uk/review-dewolff-silveroller-hug-pint-glasgow/) and he also called their sound Bad-Company-meets-The-Faces. A journalist reviewing their London show made a similar comparison to David Coverdale (his bluesy solo Northwinds album) - https://www.metallivillezine.com/dewolff-silveroller-london-23-03-24 .
And a different journalist had said of "Ways Of Saying" at a Scottish venue that it "slowed the pace down with a bluesy vibe to open but then they got their groove with anthemic aplomb" (https://bluesmatters.com/de-wolff-and-silveroller-voodoo-rooms-edinburgh/).
Fantastic reviews. I wouldn't expect any young blues rock band to be free of influences, any more than the classic blues rock bands of the '60s and '70s were free of them. And Silveroller's mix of influences is a great one.

Golden Age rocking and Silver rolling
Silveroller Backstage, Kinross, 19th September 2024
-snip-
The delicate and soulfully sung opening of 'Ways Of Saying' soon gave way to a full-bodied, power down chorus section that then dropped back to its softer, part-harmonised verses (this is a band with a good sense of dynamics).
The song then kicked back into its high-powered "Ive found a way!" chorus cry, the vocal results of which instantly recalled Steve Marriott in his prime (Jonnie Hodson reminds of the late and great Marriott, not in vocal timbre but in passion and execution of delivery).
Indeed 'Ways Of Saying,' more than any other track, highlighted Silveroller's love of classic/ 70s era swaggering rock and roll (early Rod Stewart/ The Faces, Bad Company/ Free, touches of Zeppelin, are all part of their DNA, as are many others).

Song reminds of something Montrose might have done.
The live version is solid, but it sounds like it was tapped off the mixing console, so it's really dry, especially the banking vocals.
But, it sounds better than the cellphone recording. We can hear details.

but now that you mention it...
And Montrose was compared to a lot of other great bands, too.
