Good morning my DU family,

About a month ago I bought Shadow a toy chicken that's about three inches long and makes the classic buc buc baaak (not sure how to write chicken sounds lol)sounds every time it is touched or moved.

Around ten to fifteen times a day now, I hear that silly chicken make noise because it is her favorite toy now.

I write of this because every time I hear it, I smile a little to myself knowing she is enjoying that stupid three dollar toy like there's no tomorrow.

I mention this because there are so many subtle events every day that affect our moods and state of mind.

Whether a nice song on the radio, the smell of bacon frying in the morning, or a gorgeous sunset in the evening, these pleasant events make each day special.

Please give us a day filled with opportunities to be in a happy state, not forced or contrived, but experienced, one quiet still moment at a time where the life we have blesses us as only it can.

Have a beautifully fulfilling day DU,
Love, John

I have a little rubber mouse with a bell inside it. That toy is probably on it's fourth kitty.
