(38,376 posts)Now I have a commercial sewer and have kept with it. Got use to it and found its doesnt clog the plumbing, cost less and better for the environment.
Next step will be hemp paper when the cost comes down.

(12,801 posts)though I've never tried Charmin. Currently use a house brand from a grocery store chain.
Niagara
(12,439 posts)from Great Value at Walmart, not to be confused with Great Value's Ultra Strong (which is priced a bit higher).
I buy the 18 mega roll mega pack which is equal to 72 regular rolls. I keep 4 of these mega packs in the home at all times.
It runs (no pun intended) $0.15 to $0.31 cents per 100 sheets. It's 50% savings compared to Charmin Ultra. Good Housekeeping ranked Great Value's Soft & Strong the Best Value.
Great Value toilet paper is manufactured by Sofidel. Some years ago Great Value toilet paper used to be manufactured by Clearwater Paper Corp.
I prefer Cottonelle toilet paper but that's about $0.34 to $0.65 per 100 sheets. I just won't pay that anymore.
We just had a Costco built in Buffalo and it won't open until August. It's still 20 minute drive from me and a membership fee that I would never pay for. I'm betting 100 to 1 that there's not a whole lot of grocery items that I could eat from there anyways. I know for a fact there's nothing I could eat at the food court.
We go through a lot of it here (you can never have too much TP or chocolate squirreled away.) The store brand at our local IGA is just as good too. Half the price of name brands.

Better yet get a bidet.

(2,059 posts)They claimed one sheet was all you need! Each sheet had a hole in the center where you stuck you middle finger. ahem!
When finished, you simply grabbed the sheet from underneath with your other hand and scooped it upward to clean your finger!
(Didn't sell really well!)
Butt...it WAS funny!
