Sitting in front of both the computer and a small fan. Spritzing cold water all over and letting the fan dry it off.

(1,279 posts)with no plans of turning on my AC anytime soon. Plus I spent a fortune heating so not in a big hurry to spend the same cooling. The humidity hasn't been too bad which helps.

(8,168 posts)Stayed at my son's rental house - the A/C went kerfluey the day before I got there. It was 90 in the house for 2 days before the tech was able to fix it.
I'm from northern Wisconsin and can't stand when it gets over 72. They were hot and they LIVE there. At least we had fans and the open windows at night brought a bit of relief. But geeze, I hate stewing in my own juice.

I've had my a/c on quite a bit already this year.
