Friday Night Gin Buzz. Ask me anything.

Two shots to get the party started. Now, a Kyoto Cocktail. Gin, dry vermouth, melon liqueur, and a dash of lemon juice.

I finally broke down and bought a bottle of Midori melon liqueur. There are ten or eleven cocktails in my bar book that call for melon liqueur.

Yummy!

Relaxing and buzzing pleasantly after a horrendous day at work. It’s finally time to relax…

I love you all…

I guess I cannot have alcohol anymore, as my system just cannot handle it. I just feel like crap when I drink it.

I suppose it had to happen, given just how much I used to party. Rock and Roll lifestyle and all that.

I only drink on the weekends now.

Thirty-five years ago, I was a young tank crewman in the Army, full of piss and vinegar. I could drink the barracks dry every night with my hard-partying buddies, fall into a stupor, then get up at five the next morning, fresh as a daisy, and pull a full day of duty.

Nowadays, not so much…

Now I quite enjoy it.

It doesn’t deter me from looking forward. And I definitely believe there are excellent days ahead. But there’s something comforting about looking back at the crazy shit I did when I was young.
