Good News! Blood pressure taken today showed a nice, low reading! Doc was pleased!

She also took it herself! She, too, hates the machines and won't use them!

I have a great new GP. I've done all the right things, I guess. But anyway, I am pleased I didn't have to argue with anybody and it was all done quickly and had great results!

It's given my mild kidney disease. I'm in the process of treating it but blood pressure can be a killer.

I haven't had the normal reading on the first try for a LONG time and I haven't changed the dosage of BP meds so I'm hoping this signals an improvement in whatever I am doing.

I just moved out, and I’m living alone for the first time in my life (yeah, I’m 64, but there’s still stuff I don’t know about living alone…lol).

But every day, sometimes hourly, I keep finding out I don’t have something that I always took for granted.

Anyway, thanks again!

Anytime I get it done by one of the old school liquid column devices, I get a lower set of numbers.
I wonder if the machines are designed to error on the high side so they don't disguise an actual problem.
Good for you on the low numbers.
