Good morning my DU family,

CaliforniaPeggy reminded me/us of something really important yesterday when she showed her favorite photos from her hospital stay.

She didn't let that diminish her love of photography, as a matter of fact, I would guess she used it as a motivational tool to accelerate her recovery by doing things that brought joy to her heart.

It reminds me of when I had my quadruple bypass, my main motivation to get out of bed and do my walking was to go see the pictures of the staff's pets that worked on that floor. I took two or three on my walks with me in my imagination, and my goal was to walk with all of them before I left.

What matters the most in this is that we bring all of ourselves everywhere we go, so it's a blessing when we incorporate our creativity with our healing.

Remember, if we feel better, we can heal better.
Thank you CaliforniaPeggy for that poignant reminder.

Please give us a day filled with opportunities to go beyond imagined boundaries to live better by living a fuller, more purposed day, even when we have every excuse just to lay there so to speak.

Have a self challenging day DU.
Love, John
