Good morning my DU family,

One of my favorite words in the whole English language is Play. Whether we watch someone play a sport with great excellence, or it's our turn to deal Pinochle, it is easy to visualize the joy that comes from playing.

My favorite part though, is what happens to us when we play. Whether playing with an idea, a recipe, or a simple thought, play permits with the very word the free expression of creativity, the experiences that come with success and failure, and the freedom to try something with no strings attached.

Please give us a day filled with opportunities to play, and to play purely, freely, openly, with the only true goal is having fun.
