A Shadow and Cuddles update with photos lol.

If some of you ever wonder why some of us believe in God, it's because moments like these are what us animal lovers pray for when we add a strange cat out of nowhere, because it was necessary and the hope was that all the pieces would fall in place just because it was necessary.

Cuddles is the King of the hill in this neighborhood because he's driven off all the pretenders that have tried to claim his throne.
He even went crazy when we tried taking him and Shadow out together, hounding her mercilessly until we brought her back into the house. Needless to say, there'll be no more walks together for the three of us.

I side the house, he is such a teddy bear with Shadow, he has started sleeping with her, washing her, and letting her harass him incessantly during the day when he's in the house. Be is so very gentle with her, so enthusiastically playful sometimes being the submissive, sometimes the aggressor, but always so careful, like she was fragile or something.

Conversely, Shadow is always looking for an opportunity to engage Cuddles, she is so snuggly with him when he first comes in, wraps herself up against him to the point of being a pest lol. She is one tough girl though, at no point has she cowered to either Cuddles or Petunia, with Petunia secretly loving that she's here.

It's amazing, I call Shadow an incredibly loving and gentle cat, but she won't do laps. She sleeps by my head during the night, (Petunia gets the day nap headwraps lol), will curl herself up to my hand and arm, and even when she plays hard with me, she hugs my arm with the gentlest firm grip I've ever known. Not a single claw, but so much strength in those toe beans to hang on for dear life.

My sister looked at a photo of her and said she's an old soul, and with her having such a tough first year of her life, that she kept her sweetness, gentility and courage through everything, makes me believe her.
