Some people look good in them though, and I have no problem with what other people choose to wear.

I worked medical supply and part of my job was buying office supplies at the "local purchase" store and individual equipment section of Base Supply. I made a lot of contacts and had a good rapport with the people who worked there. In late September, when our fiscal year was ending, I got a call from the individual equipment section They said they were doing inventory and were missing a couple of steel toed boots and could they charge then to our account. In return, they'd give us a dozen aviator sunglasses.The sunglasses were the one the pilots wore. I checked with my supervisor and he approved it. I went down and signed off on the boots and brought back 12 aviator sunglasses. After handing the out to those in our shop we gave the rest of them to people in the hospital who worked well with us. I wore them for a couple of years and finally gave them up because they were too heavy and cause pain on my nose.

That was the second best trade I made in my career.
