Over the Christmas holidays I experimented cleaning

the closet doors’ louvre windows with a covered paint scraper. It worked really well. So (using old wash rags) I made some fitted paint scraper gloves- one for wet and one for dry. They removed the dust in less than half the usual time. I am very pleased with myself.😀

I have solid wood louvered closet doors that are a real pain to clean. Thanks, malaise!

Last year July I tried a covered spatula but it was a little too thick. Around Christmas I was cleaning up and ran into the paint scraper and thought this might be better for the job.
Someone can start a lil business with the scraper, gloves and cleaning material😀

I used to use a brush that came with a dust pan to clean them but the brush never got the dust that settled into the corners. Plus it was time consuming.

I did do something similar recently, attached a dust rag onto the end of a yard stick with rubber bands and then sprayed it with Pledge so I could clean under the antique grandfather clock that sits on a wood floor. You know how you’re sitting in the room one day and you happen to see a ton of dust underneath something and you wonder if any of your guests have seen it too!

I just pulled a box full of papers and receipts and accumulated stuff and started going thru them..do I need anything from 2008?! Now I’ve got a pile to shred. Got tired of looking at that box and thinking I ought to do something about it!

Take them outside and blow the dust off with an air compressor.
