(29,748 posts)It was fascinating. Their gift shop sold 2 pound bags of what they called Belly Flops for just a few bucks. The "belly flops" were jelly beans that were imperfect - distorted shape, 2 stuck together, smudged logo, etc.
I just read that this facility was closed down in 2024 - too bad.
My favorite Jelly Belly flavors are juicy pear, which tastes more like pears than pears do, and pink grapefruit. I detest the buttered popcorn flavor.

(1,100 posts)I loathe peeps. But I wouldn't ban either. Just because I dislike something doesn't mean it shouldn't exist. I'm a Democrat, you know. We're not like that.

(1,298 posts)When I was a kid there was a little mom and pop shop down the street that had a penny candy case. I would buy black licorice and black jawbreakers snd anything else that had that flavor.
As for peeps, you can make smores with them, maybe 15 seconds in the microwave.
