My wife has been pretty sick since Wednesday, but she was nice enough to push through and cut my hair tonight.

I'm taking her to the walk-in in the morning. I'm a little worried, because she never gets sick, and I'm hoping it's not Covid.

While she was cutting my hair, she said "Jesus, you're a hairy guy".

That reminded me of this song because of the "Hair throng, goo tongue" line, so I started serenading her with this version.

The first line is "For hither not", and that line makes me laugh because it is so non-sensical. She asked me what "For hither not" meant, and I said "You have to understand that they wrote this song in a horse barn that was converted into a recording studio while high on acid and while watching a belligerent stallion prance around in a neighboring field".

She kept admonishing me because I was laughing so hard that I was shaking and making her miss with the clippers.

I think I cheered her up a little. I hope she is going to get over this sickness soon...she sounds pretty rough. If I could take this sickness from her, I would.

She really stoic, but I can tell she feels horrible.

She's had all of her shots except for RSV.

Thanks, yellow dahlia.

As a fan of Mr. Ed since his show was first run, this made me LMAO. Never heard Ween (or heard of them/him) before but this juxtaposition of the song with Mr. Ed scenes is simply brilliant.

Thanks for sharing!

You write so vividly of both your wife and yourself, I feel like I'm watching an episode of "The Honeymooners".

ALWAYS A PLEASURE, Lucky! bEST TO BOTH OF YOU!

And she wasn't admitted to the hospital, right?

Also hope you take full advantage of all your hair clippings by putting them in Ziploc bags and selling them on Ebay.

Your post is the first song by them I've listened to. I can see why my nephew is a fan.

Hope by now Mrs. Lucky is on the mend.

I'm not sure why this one was missing as none of the words in my trash can match the ones in the title.

Glad to know all is well!
