The degree of dissonance and technique is... part of the person.
The G string on a guitar used to drive me crazy, because no mater what key you're
in, it's WRONG by a number of cents (1/100ths)
Look up 'Just Intonation' or 'Angel's Tuning'
Oh an example of Just Intonation would be any Barbershop quartet.or a pedal
or lap steel guitar...see how sweet they sound!
There are recordings of Symphonies performed in 'Just' tuning...
