My granddad had a Bloodhound named Joe.
I loved that dog, he was just so peaceful.

About my granddad's old Joe and wonder was I attracted to my husband at first because his name was Joe? I loved that dog.

My maternal grandfather also had a backyard dog named "Old Joe". All of his dogs were named "Old Joe". I wondered if it was a southern thing.
