In the very early episodes, Hawkeye was not from Maine. What state?
IIRC that was in the first "Dear Dad" episode.

I saw Alan Alda at a talk and book signing. I saw Jamie Farr and shook his hand in Toledo.

They got the addresses & the direction the streets ran wrong in The Sting, too.
