I thought I was the only one who did this.

I have to take two showers whenever I get a haircut.

The first shower is to be nice and clean for the barber.

The second shower is as soon as I get home from the barber, 45 minutes after the first shower, because even though he blows all of the cut hair off of me with an actual hair compressor hose, I still feel horribly uncomfortable and itchy after a haircut.

I also have a "special haircut shirt", and I have had one my entire life. I thought I was the only one who was like this, but the internet has reassured me that I'm not crazy.

I always wonder if my barber thinks that I only own one shirt.

I’m kidding.

I just took a shower. I’m getting a haircut hopefully this morning and I will shower again after I get it.
Man, I need a haircut bad. I have the next two days off work.

But you'll have to promise to return it.

I wish you success with your haircut today. I always get a little anxiety before a haircut, because, you know...you never know how these things are going to turn out.

I know when I need to be there and pick who cuts it. I have two women that I go between. One just showed back up - she cut my hair 20 years ago at a historic barbershop downtown. Every Governor has gotten their haircut there for 50+ years. I wonder what Abbie will do. Neither one appears to be working today. Oh well I need a haircut.

17. Whenever I've had a short, layered haircut (which hasn't been for quite some years), I used my Flowbee to cut it.

I always ask for talc afterward, which provides some relief.

I bought a haircutting kit many years ago to cut my husband’s and 3 sons’ hair. (All those kids’ haircuts really added up and we were living on a teacher’s salary).

When you are the one doing the haircutting, the hair goes down your sleeves and it itches like crazy, so as the designated hair cutter in the house, I have several hair cutting shirts dedicated to wear for hair cutting. I also wear an apron, but I always make sure to wear an old short sleeved t shirt when doing the cutting.

I never knew the names of the styles, and I was terrified of being asked what style I wanted.
I couldn't have cared less, but just the question that I couldn't answer was triggering.
I had a "Short back and sides" for many years.

Maybe if you wear the shirt and do your 'time' now, you'll go straight to the express lane at the Pearly Gates.

Teeny, tiny bits of hair inside a bra might as well be cactus needles. They don't just itch, they hurt.
