I plugged in my old CD player and got the cd collection out of the closet. I'm listening to the Album Solitary Man by Johnny Cash. Not country. Christmas? No. Blues? I don't know, but it's want I want to listen to right now:

I tried to edit the link so it doesn't gather info, but didn't work for this one.

(22,734 posts)I listen to a college station and I think some of the students running it shut it off when their stint is over. It went off last night. I listen to True Oldies Channel on radiobox.com online. Usually reliable, today, no. I don't want to listen to the local station that carries it, because of the local advertising. It's frustrating.
We didn't buy a lot of media, but I have maybe 50 DVDs and probably 100 CDs, nothing newer that 2015. I also have quite a few 78s, 33s, cassettes, and VHS videos. Oh yes, sheet music, too. lol I'm willing to let go, but finding someone who wants any of it is tricky.
When I had my vintage booth, I culled the CDs and DVDs and sold several for $1 each. I sold a box of 45s, too.
I have a few machines that might play some of the formats, radio cassette players for sure and a wind-up suitcase Victrola and some needles. That's a blast from the past.
