The bar/restaurant in my neighborhood serves home made onion rings. And with wine too.

and maybe a bit thereafter, there was a restaurant in North Atlanta on the perimeter called Jilly's, that made an onion LOAF, which was just mashed together onion rings made with Vidalia onions, that I highly doubt I'll ever top anywhere.
