October 29 - today's my birthday. I'm 72.
How the hell did that happen? Seems like only yesterday I was 71.................
I used to say that to my mother on every birthday (with different numbers, of course) and she would laugh every time. When I turned 25 she asked me "How does it feel to be a quarter of a century old?" and I said "How does it feel to have a daughter a quarter of a century old?"
I'm still here. I'm still kicking. I think it's going to be a great day! So, to celebrate, I wish you all a great day too!

Mine was yesterday (28th) and I spent the day on the couch being very sick… ugh. Hope your day is much better!!

I had a nice day, turn over 249,000 miles on the vehicle, drove to Acadia NP (it was closed but you can drive the peninsula) and put my hands in the ocean, had some lobster and saw amazing foliage.

Wasn't it great to have a birthday so close to Halloween? First I got presents, ice cream and cake and then a couple of days later, I would go out and get free candy!
Feels like I only turned 75, but next Feb it'll be 78. Enjoy and make the most of each day, month and year.

There used to be a commercial on TV many moons ago with a woman and cat dancing and the announcer would say "Why is this woman dancing with her cat?" and I'd turn to my cat at the time (my beloved Bootsy) and say "Why don't you ever dance with me?" Trouble is, I've forgotten what the commercial was for!
I'm going to meet a lifelong friend for lunch at our favorite Middle Eastern restaurant. In fact, this friend is the one who introduced me to Middle Eastern cuisine in the first place. I see lemon chicken Tawook in my immediate future.
My mother was a hoot at times. She had a great sense of humor.
Enjoy yourself, that is so cool. We always go to our favorite Middle Eastern place, always. We raised our kids on it so we all now love it more than anything.
Great plans you have, I have a big happy smile on my face so again 
the 70's are not bad at all!
My 3/4 century is just over the horizon, end of March.
